Real files, not just links to them.
Paste or drop images, PDFs, video and audio straight into a note. Images are re-encoded before they ever leave the device — a full-size copy and a thumbnail — so the library stays quick to scroll on a phone.
Inline or filed
Drop a file inline where you're writing, pin it to a strip at the top of the note, or file it straight onto a project with no note at all.
Big files handled
Large uploads switch to a multipart transfer automatically, so a long video doesn't fail halfway on a patchy connection.
A real viewer
Arrow keys move through the library, and video scrubs properly instead of re-downloading the whole file to jump ten seconds.

Drag a note onto a project to file it, or onto a tag to label it. Projects nest and take a colour; tags cut across everything. Delete a project and the notes inside survive — they move to No project rather than disappearing with it.

Can I use it with no internet at all?
Yes. Reads and writes go to storage on your device first, and the interface never waits on the network. When a connection returns, changes sync in the background in both directions.
What happens if I edit the same note on two devices?
The most recent edit wins. Corkboard compares timestamps per record rather than trying to merge text, which keeps the behaviour predictable — the trade-off is that a simultaneous edit to the same note keeps only the later one.
Is there a native app to install?
Corkboard installs as a progressive web app. On Windows that means installing it from the browser so it runs in its own window; on Android and iOS it's added to the home screen. There's one codebase behind all three.
What happens to attachments when I delete a note?
Deletes are recorded as tombstones rather than immediate removals, so the deletion itself syncs to your other devices. Attachments filed against a project rather than a note are unaffected.
